Sparks Reservoir

Oil on canvas panel 6 x 8" ( 15 x 20 cm)
$ 150

Those clouds where a prelude of a nice rainshower that got the painting and me wet.

Ciao Marco,
Buon lavoro,
Mariano

Hi Liz,
thank you very much for visiting and for the nice comments. My compliment for your understanding of the Italian. Only you could have spot those canoes! Oltrough they are the center of attention, at least on my mind! My main sky is Lussier blue : ultramarine with equal amount of viridian (small quantities) mixed with a big blob of mixed white. At times instead of ultramarine i use cerulean, or Blue Royal -Rembradt brand, i like to experiment with diferent blues. Have a great Sunday

Hi Celeste,
thanks for visiting and for the nice comments. I added some worm brownish green on the left. A first for me. I am glad you are pleased with the overall effect. The rain gave me some problem, as the light changed a lot, before and after. I tryed to stay with before! Not easy as your eyes see a different scene! All the best Celeste, happy painting
