No Swimming

Oil on canvas 9x12"(23x30cm)
$ 200

A limited palette  was conductive to a very gray sky, with rain troughout. I did stop for 90 minutes, and at time I was holding a big umbrella with my left hand and painting with the right. Very inconvenient, but somehow I managed to finish.

Wrong way

Oil on canvas 9 x 12" ( 23x30cm)
$ 200

An overcast day gave me the opportunity to explore the Zorn palette, a simple arrow on the road cought my interest on the way out of the Sparks Reservoir parking lot. I had to stop on account of rain. Moved the all set up under a tree, finally the rain gave me a breck and i was able to finish.

Sweetwater Creek Bridge

Oil on Canvas 9 x 12"
$ 200

The Zorn palette has became my teacher, and i enjoy the lessons. A worm and humid afternoon by the Creek where the span of the bridge is the only human presence; ants anjoyed my legs and every bag i had!
