Hi Kathy, thank you very much for the great comment on this oil and on my work. This is a copy from Emile Gruppe', a great American artist.He painted a lot of scenery from Glouchester,MA harbor seascapes; and lendscapes with snow. I admire His work , also my Grandfather used to own 10 sailing vessel around the 1900 back in Italy, so I love boats as i spent 33 years at sea, 10 in Italy and 23 in USA. Also I love oil colors , so now you know. This particular oil depict 2 Fishing boats in a Florida canal on a crisp morning. Best regards Mariano
Ciao Mario, Ti ringrazio, e mi piace la tua dieta , purtroppo per avere pesce fresco abbisogna un miracolo ;oggigiorno e' tutto commerciale e non sai mai cosa mangi specialmente di pesce. A Genova ai miei tempi si trovava buon pesce fresco , oggigiorno non so'. Ormai chi va' a pescare? troppi sacrifici per la gente di oggi. Io dico che abbiamo fatto un regresso nel modo di vivere! Meno male c'e' l'arte che sostiene!

Che bello, Mariano! vorrei essere lì su quei battelli da pesca, adesso che devo mangiar pesce azzurro almeno tre volte alla settimana!
