Ciao Laura,

Hi Arti,
thank you very much, glad you like my oil and the place where i live. Sweetwater creek is a Georgia State park just 3 minutes by car from my home. This view is a small piece of the reservoir.:)

Hi Celeste,
I am so glad for your comments specially knowing how busy you are! Thank you. Is very strange to me that only 20 minutes by car from Atlanta you find yourself in full county. Nothing but greenery and trees. Doogwoods and violet trees are bluming already 10 days and are now loosing the colors(so quickly). This year I have 2 main changes on my plain air. I paint thick over thin; it adds to the tridimentionality, and I introduced modern color to my palette. Permanent Rose Phtalo green blue and Phtalo blue all Windsor&Newton, and W&N viridian that I use for the sky mixed with utramarine and a lot of white. I found out that i love to paint on linen. Beside beeing archivial is a great surface to paint upon, much better than canvas. Happy painting

Hi Vic,
thank you very much for your nice comments about my last paintings. I shall do more of them before I go to my vacation July and August. It pleases me that you like them . Yes it takes time to stay in touch with your friends and followers, so I totally understand you. We also have to live our life in the spare time from painting! So don'd worry about a thing! Also if you don't sign at the end(I don't) it does not matter because the first line is the Blog symbol and your name, so wohever receive the comments knows its you.
