Mariano--your architectural paintings are fantastic! What a treat. That is quite a surprise that the little tree is in the center--but for whatever reason---I like it!

Hi Celeste,
This is the corner of my home here in Lithia Springs with the view of the side yard. My wife blue spruce was imported from Pensylvania and I think he wants to go back home where he came from, everithing is pointing North, the house, the fence, the trees and the blue spruce . The foreground has horizontal strokes that contrast and reinforce the verticals. Thank you Gruppe'. On second toughts maybe is just me wonting to go North as a matter of fact I will leave Sunday to visit my son in Pensylvania for a week, will bring my brand new openbox M with me!

Mariano, it's a lovely house and the little spruce looks happy to me. Another painting well done. I hope you are enjoying your visit with your son. I've been patiently waiting for snow, but you know how it is on Long Island. Have a great day.

Hi Joan,
I am glad you liked the house and the painting, and thanks for your comment. I had a great time with my son and family , but too short!!! And it is 700 plus miles to go there by car, A long drive. I managed to make 2 small oils over there, with cloudy skies and reasonably cold weather. Will probably post them tomorrow . Had a great thanks giving and for that I am thankfull
