This afternoon I tested my New pochade in the field and this is the results. A quiet and old shack basking in the afternoon sun under a clear sky, just 20 minutes from Atlanta.
I inaugurated my new pochade box a 6 x 8 " Abbey Rowlay from Trowbridge England trying to capture the massive mount Ossero; a 530 meters giant that has a direct bearing on the weather and the people of this marine village at his foot.
This was created in my studio looking at a small 9x12" plain air painting I made on a hot August day in Nerezine (Croatia) last summer. It was a strange sensation ; as the painting progressed I felt more and more over there.
